Trampoline Park Safety
At be.UP Park, kids and parents play and have fun together, and while everyone plays, keeping your family safe is our job, not yours.

At be.UP Park, kids and parents play and have fun together, and while everyone plays, keeping your family safe is our job, not yours. Safety is one of our core values. This page shows you exactly what that means, in plain language.
The short version. Our crew are trained to international lifeguarding standards and watch the floor every second you’re here. Our equipment is checked daily, logged digitally and independently inspected. Trained first aiders are on the floor at every session. And when something does happen, and active play, like any sport, carries some risk, we respond in seconds and follow up properly.
The single biggest thing that keeps kids safe in an indoor playground is how well it’s watched, so we built our supervision on international lifeguarding gold standards. We staff every session so our crew can scan their zone within 10 seconds and reach any child who needs help within 20. When the park gets busier, we add more crew to the floor, never fewer. Watching well is the whole job, and we treat it that way.

Every piece of play equipment runs through a layered inspection schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) covering routine preventative checks and immediate fixes. Every check is signed off by a Park Manager or Supervisor and logged digitally, so nothing rests on memory or a clipboard.
Our play equipment and impact surfacing are built and maintained in line with the South African playground safety standard (SANS 51176) and current European best practice (EN 1176), and each park is independently inspected, including impact testing of fall zones.
Because our crew spot trouble within seconds, care starts fast. Trained first aiders are on the floor at every session. For anything more serious, we have standing agreements with local private ambulance services. We keep you informed the whole way through, and every incident, no matter how small, is documented and reviewed each quarter, so the park keeps getting safer.
We hold our team to high standards: all crew members complete safeguarding training and are vetted through standard police background checks. Our leadership hold advanced first aid, we train first aiders in-house, and refresh that training every month. The marshals on your court know exactly what they’re doing.

Before the fun starts, our crew run a quick safety briefing so everyone knows how to play safely. A few simple rules keep the floor safe: grip socks on, long hair tied, jewellery off, and follow the crew. None of it slows the fun down, it’s what keeps the day a good one.
Kids do get hurt at play parks. Active play, like any sport, carries some risk, and we’d never pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that we work hard to make injuries rare and respond fast and well when something happens: trained crew watching every second, checked equipment, first aiders on the floor, and a written follow-up on every incident. That’s what taking safety seriously looks like day to day.

No. A waiver is standard for any active-play venue, and it does two honest things: it makes sure you understand that active play carries risk, and it lets our crew act fast to help your child in a medical situation. It does not remove our duty to run a safe, well-managed park, that duty is exactly what this page is about.
Trained, and checked. Every crew member passes a police background check and completes safeguarding training before their first shift. Trained first aiders are on the floor at every session, our leadership hold advanced first aid, and we refresh first aid training in-house every month.
It can look busy, but it’s managed. Our supervision standard means crew can scan their zone in 10 seconds and reach a child in 20, and we add crew as the park fills up. Busy is not the same as unsupervised.
We’d gently say the opposite. Kids need to move, climb, jump and test themselves, and the risk of a childhood spent sitting still is real too. Our job is to give them that freedom in a place built and watched to keep them safe, while you relax in the café with good food and free Wi-Fi.
We won’t tell you nothing ever goes wrong, because that wouldn’t be true of any park, sport or playground. What we will tell you is that we’ve built this place, and trained this crew, to make problems rare and to handle them properly when they happen. Fast eyes, checked equipment, trained first aiders, honest follow-up. That’s the deal, and we take it seriously.
The waiver is quick to sign online before you arrive, or at the park on the day. A parent or legal guardian signs for anyone under 18. It sets out the risks of active play plainly and lets our crew give your child emergency first aid if it’s ever needed.

Got a safety question, or something to raise from a visit? We want to hear it. Anything about safety, a medical matter or an incident goes straight to a manager.
