Looking for the perfect place to host corporate events? be.UP Park is the new venue for it.

With team building activities, incredibly fun attractions and an amazing environment, your staff will enjoy their visit.

We have strategically developed a roller coaster of activities guaranteed to create a fun experience that will increase morale amongst coworkers, enhance teamwork activities and enrich your company culture! This tactical and action-filled program focuses on the fundamental concepts of team building and effective communication in a fun and exhilarating way.

ORDER OF EVENTS

  • For your corporate events we can accommodate groups from 12 people up to 50 people. You will be guided through the team building activities, which will comprise of a Dodgeball comp, a jump on the Big-Bag, some climbing challenges in the Clip ‘n Climb area and a high adventure course in the AltiGame. At the end of the activities, everyone will be ready to replenish their bodies with some tasty nibbles supplied by be.Café. What better way to increase morale among coworkers!
  • Christmas Party. You can have just as much fun playing in our venue and then have an amazing party afterwards with our sound system that can be set to glow in the dark. You can also dance and even bring your own DJ if you like.
  • Lectures with exercise and adrenaline! We can host your lectures and customize different areas of the venue according to your group size.

be.UP park will provide good assistance in customizing any corporate event to your specific requirement, ensuring that your needs are catered for and your goals are met.

    • Our packages start from R275 per person (2 hours).
      Available during the week, not available during school & public holidays. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have special requirements.

FAQ

When can I organise my team building session?
Tue – Fri: 9:30AM – 6:00PM – Not available during school and public holidays. Kindly note that specific areas or our entire park can be booked for exceptional events. Days and NIGHTS! So if you need a very special event for a very special company (yours!), don’t hesitate to contact us by email booking@beuppark.co.za
Is there a minimum number for corporate events?
The minimum number for a corporate event is 12 people. We can however cater for parties of 45 if required.
Do you have parking?
We have private, safe and free parking. Enjoy it! If it is full, there is always Howard Centre parking available.
Is there an age or height restriction in be.UP Park?
In order to play in be.UP Park, children need to be at least an age of 3 years old to ensure there are no bruises or bumps.

Note that kids under the height of 120 cm only have access to our huge Kids’ Maze (reserved slides, trampolines and spider tower for a lot of safe fun) and the Climbing Walls area (Clip ‘n Climb challenges).

You must be 120 cm or more in height to have general access to be.UP Park’s activities: Trampoline, Climbing Walls, AltiGame and Kids’ Maze.

You can access be.UP on your own from 13 years of age. Under that age you should be accompanied by a parent or caretaker. You still need to have your waiver signed by a duly authorized person.

From 18 years of age you can sign your own waiver. Someone over the age of 18 needs to sign the waiver for anyone under 18 years of age.

Are there any weight or height limits?
The weight limit for Trampolines and AltiGame 125 kgs / Climbing Walls 150 kgs.

There is no height limit because the ceiling is just so incredibly high.

Do I get the use of the different play areas exclusively?
No, we do however ensure that our strict capacity levels are adhered to at all times.

How do I book an event?
To book your corporate event, there are different options on our website. You can make an enquiry or request a callback. If you prefer, you can also give us a call:  087 057 1400 anytime from Monday – Friday (9:00AM-5:00PM).
If I make an enquiry through be.UP website, what is your delay in response?
All requests will be answered within 48 hours by the events management team. Please just be sure to enter your correct details
How does payment work?
The total payment is required upon booking in order to confirm your event in our booking system. You can pay by credit/debit card or EFT. Please refer to our cancellation policy below.
When must numbers be confirmed by? Can I add extra guests?
Event numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the day of the party. If you would like to add additional guests to the event you can call our Central office (087 057 1400 anytime from Monday – Friday / 9:00AM-5:00PM) and see if there is suitable availability However please be aware that once we have passed our capacity for that time period we can’t allow any extra guests. Space fills up very fast!

Please note that if you arrive on the day with less numbers you will be charged as per your confirmed booking.

How far in advance should I book my be.UP Party/Event?
According to our experience, to ensure you get a time that suits you best we advise booking 4-6 weeks before the time. Our online booking system won’t allow for bookings within 1 week but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some space left so be sure to give us a call (087 057 1400 anytime from Monday – Friday / 9:00AM-5:00PM).
Do I get an event host when I book a Team Building package?
Yes, our be.UP hosts will guide your staff to the different areas of the park and bring them to their allocated room to serve food and beverages once their activity time is over.
What should I wear to participate in the different activities?
This isn’t a fashion show so go with comfortable clothing to enjoy the fun activities! Only appropriate clothing must be worn. This means loose-fitting clothes, T-shirts and athletic wear that allows pores to breathe.

This may seem a bit obvious but we don’t allow stuff with pointy bits in the play zones.
One last thing: you can’t wear any jewellery of any sort while playing in be.UP Park.

What shoes can I wear?
As all shoes need to be removed and be.UP Park grip socks worn, we have no requirements for footwear. be.UP provides free shoes for AltiGame and Climbing Wall activities.
Where can I store my shoes and belongings during my stay in be.UP Park?
For your convenience we offer free shoe cubbies.

We have several lockers available for your valuables, phones, etc. With a deposit of R30, we give you a padlock for the duration of your session. Don’t forget to leave the padlock at the reception before leaving.

Your property is left in these lockers entirely at your own risk.

Note that be.UP Park is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Why do I need to wear those grippy be.UP socks?
Our be.UP socks have been designed to increase grip in the games, reducing the risk of injury. Yes, it’s now a bit of a legal requirement sort of thing. We want to do whatever it takes to keep you safe after all.

The socks cost just R20 and are yours to keep and re-use.

Can I wear glasses?
Sure. It’s important to see, but they may fall off so wear them at your own risk.
How long do be.UP corporate events go on for?
Basically, be.UP Events run for 2 hours. This includes 90 minutes of play and exercise time and 30 minutes in your private area. But we can customize your corporate event as you already know.
Can I bring my own room decorations?
With pleasure if your material fits with ours. Please if you have a doubt, send us an email at booking@beuppark.co.za or just call our Central office 087 057 1400 anytime from Monday – Friday (9:00AM-5:00PM).

Note all must be removed on exiting the party area.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
We do not allow external food or drinks due to agreements with suppliers and licensing restrictions.

What food/beverages do you serve for the Corporate events?

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
We can cater for most dietary requirements. Please send an email to booking@beuppark.co.za or call our functions team on 087 057 1400 (anytime from 9:00AM until 5:00PM) to let them know what your requirements are.
What are your safety rules?
To ensure the safety of all our be.UP Park guests, there is a court monitor supervising all areas of the park at all times.

We have strict capacity levels that we adhere to on a daily basis and all guests are briefed on dos and don’ts before their playtime begins. (Our T&Cs will all be included in your confirmation when booking, which must be signed.)

We reserve the right to exclude any person not willing to follow our internal safety rules.

Do you have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi at be.UP Park is fully functioning.
We chase our suppliers every day to make sure you can surf the net freely. We cannot guarantee full and constant high capacity but strive to offer the best conditions.
Do I need to sign a waiver before I can participate?
Yes. Everybody needs to have a waiver signed.

Waivers can be filled out online or filled out at the location.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for you, but does not have to be present when you visit the facility.

Waivers will stay on file for one year.

Can I complete my waiver online?
Yes. We highly recommend completing waivers online so that they link with our booking system at the park and you will have a much quicker check-in process when you arrive.
We have tablets you can use just in case, but you don’t want to miss a minute of your session, do you?
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your party/event booking subject to be.UP Park receiving your request for cancellation with no less than 2 weeks’ notice before the booked start time. Any requests for cancellation must be made via email to booking@beuppark.co.za. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.

If you cancel at least 2 weeks before the event, your refund will be subject to a charge of 30% of the amount paid. No refund allowed within 2 weeks of the event.

be.UP Park shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. In the event that we need to cancel your booking, we shall notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to a full refund in the event of cancellation under this clause but no other compensation shall be payable.

In the event that it proves necessary to close the Activities for reasons beyond the control of be.UP Park and in circumstances where your party has commenced participation in the Activities, you shall not be entitled to any refund (in part or in whole). In such circumstances be.UP Park may, but shall not be obliged to, offer alternative dates or times at reduced rates.

Do you have wheelchair access?
In be.UP Park there is wheelchair access to the building via a ramp. There is however limited access to the mezzanine Café and the play areas.
Can I jump or climb with a medical condition?
If you have any sort of medical condition that may affect your ability to safely jump on a trampoline, climb on fun walls or run on the ropes courses, you must consult a doctor first and write down all the details on your waiver
Can I jump or climb if I’m pregnant?
No. This is for the safety of both you and your unborn child. See you in 9 months!
Are be.UP Park Activities dangerous?
Trampoline jumping, climbing walls and the ropes courses are comparable in risk to other sports like skateboarding, snow skiing, ice hockey and football. Jump or climb within your ability and don’t attempt advanced moves that are beyond you. This is not the place to show off or try to impress anyone.

Fortunately, we’ve invested heavily in training our be.Staff. Anyone can blow a whistle. Our park safety monitors are trained to predict and prevent – not just react to things.
